“Don’t talk about it, be about it.”
That slogan is at the top of the intro for the heroine of today’s story –– your new helper here at mint mortgage, Jasmyne Bahr –– because it neatly captures the essence of many people and things she respects and loves.
Take one of Jasmyne’s fave shows: Schitt’s Creek. Are you familiar with it?
If not (in short), this fun, award-winning, quirky, and made-in-Canada (yay!) show follows the trials of the formerly well-off Rose family after they are forced to move to Schitt’s Creek, a small town they once purchased as a joke.
Without (practically) giving anything away, even though at the start of this rough chapter in their lives the Roses can only count on one another for support, it’s not until the end of season two that we hear the first ‘I love you’ from one Rose family member to another. After two full seasons!!
But the loyal fans of the show don’t mind. (Just for the loyal fans: sorry if my short description of the show is, maybe, making it sound heavier than it is.)
And here’s why they don’t mind: While the Roses may not talk about it, they are all about it –– their big-hearted sensibility for one another is the consistent flywheel of the show.
I’m super happy today because Jasmyne, aka a big-hearted doer who loves sly humour, is joining the mint mortgage crew, and because our clients, friends, and fans have one more caring helper to lean on.
Over to you: Can we get a “Welcome aboard!” for Jasmyne?!
